Hadith 4309

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : كَانُوا يَقْرَءُونَ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " خَلَطْتُمْ عَلَيَّ الْقُرْآنَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to recite (the Qur'an) behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You have confused the Qur'an upon me."
