Hadith 4253

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " أُوتِيَ نَبِيُّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا مَفَاتِيحَ الْغَيْبِ الْخَمْسِ : إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ سورة لقمان آية 34 " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was given the keys to everything except five things. Then he recited this verse: «﴿إِنَّ اللّٰهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ . . . . .﴾» [لقمان : 34] "Knowledge of the Hour is with Allah alone . . . . ."
