Hadith 4236

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمْ يُنْزِلْ دَاءً إِلَّا أَنْزَلَ لَهُ شِفَاءً ، عَلِمَهُ مَنْ عَلِمَهُ ، وَجَهِلَهُ مَنْ جَهِلَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu' form that: "Allah has not sent down any disease except that He has also sent down its cure; whoever knows it, knows it, and whoever remains unaware of it, remains unaware."
