Hadith 4228

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَتَخَوَّلُنَا بِالْمَوْعِظَةِ فِي الْأَيَّامِ ، مَخَافَةَ السَّآمَةِ عَلَيْنَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would leave out some days in admonition and advice, as he did not consider it good for us to become weary.
