Hadith 4185

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَمْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : وقَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : كَيْفَ مَنْ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَهْلِينَ : أَهْلٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ، وَأَهْلٌ بِكَذَا ، وَأَهْلٌ بِكَذَا .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain, however, at the end of it there is also this: What will happen to the person whose family resides in three places—some family members live in Medina, some elsewhere, and some elsewhere.
