(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْأَخْرَمِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ طَيِّئٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ " نَهَى عَنْ " التَّبَقُّرِ فِي الْأَهْلِ وَالْمَالِ " .
Once, a man from Banu Tai narrated among the people, on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade abundance of family and wealth.
