(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، وَحَجَّاجٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ عِيسَى الْأَسَدِيِّ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الطِّيَرَةُ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ ، وَمَا مِنَّا إِلَّا ، وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يُذْهِبُهُ بِالتَّوَكُّلِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bad omen is shirk. There is none among us except that it occurs to him, but Allah removes it through reliance (tawakkul) upon Him."
