Hadith 4169

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَاجِدٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ ، وَقَالَ : وَكَأَنَّمَا أُسِفَّ وَجْهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : ذُرَّ عَلَيْهِ رَمَادٌ .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain, however, in this one it is also mentioned that it seemed as if ashes were scattered on the radiant face of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
