Hadith 4125

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ الصَّادِقُ الْمَصْدُوقُ ، قَالَ : " بَيْعُ الْمُحَفَّلَاتِ خِلَابَةٌ ، وَلَا تَحِلُّ الْخِلَابَةُ لِمُسْلِمٍ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) — who is truthful and believed — told us this hadith: "Tying the udders of an animal and presenting it as if its udders are full in order to sell it is deception, and deception is not permissible for any Muslim."
