Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) participated in the funeral of an Ansari. The people there began to seek forgiveness aloud, but Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) did not object to this. According to another narrator, the people brought him in from the foot side of the grave, and he did not object to this either.
