Hadith 4015

(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ وَثَّابٍ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَوْمًا ، فَقَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " فَرُعِدَ حَتَّى رُعِدَتْ ثِيَابُهُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ نَحْوَ ذَا أَوْ شَبِيهًا بِذَا " .
Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, and as soon as he said this, he began to tremble and his clothes started shaking, and he said: "He said this, or something close to this." (Proof of caution)
