Hadith 3999

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " إِنِّي لَأَحْفَظُ الْقَرَائِنَ الَّتِي كَانَ يَقْرُنُ بَيْنَهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثَمَانِي عَشْرَةَ سُورَةً مِنَ الْمُفَصَّلِ ، وَسُورَتَيْنِ مِنْ آلِ حم " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that I also know such examples that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited two surahs in one rak'ah, among which are eighteen surahs from the Mufassalat and two surahs from Al-Ha-Meem.
