Hadith 3917

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْصُورٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا سَمَرَ إِلَّا لِأَحَدِ رَجُلَيْنِ : لِمُصَلٍّ أَوْ مُسَافِرٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No one is permitted to talk after the 'Isha prayer except for two persons: one who is praying or one who is traveling."
