Hadith 3895

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، وَبَهْزٌ ، قَالاَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُوَلَتَيْنِ كَأَنَّهُ عَلَى الرَّضْفِ ، قُلْتُ : حَتَّى يَقُومَ ؟ قَالَ : حَتَّى يَقُومَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to sit between the two rak'ahs as if he were sitting on a hot stone. I asked: Until standing up? He replied: Yes.
