(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : مَا نَسِيتُ فِيمَا نَسِيتُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ " كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ : السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ ، حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ : السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ ، حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ أَيْضًا " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whatever things I have forgotten, I have forgotten, but I have not forgotten that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), at the end of the prayer, would say «السلام عليكم ورحمة الله» while turning to the right and to the left, until the whiteness of his cheeks would be visible.
