Hadith 3871

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ضِرَارٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ، يَقُولُ : " مَا صُمْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا صُمْتُ مَعَهُ ثَلَاثِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I have observed thirty fasts of the month of Ramadan with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) more frequently than I have observed twenty-nine (29) fasts.
