Hadith 3868

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ : رَجُلٌ قَتَلَهُ نَبِيٌّ ، أَوْ قَتَلَ نَبِيًّا ، وَإِمَامُ ضَلَالَةٍ ، وَمُمَثِّلٌ مِنَ الْمُمَثِّلِينَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the severest punishment will be for the person who was killed by a prophet, or who killed a prophet, or who was a leader of misguidance, or who mutilated corpses."
