Hadith 3844

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ مِنْ شِرَارِ النَّاسِ مَنْ تُدْرِكُهُ السَّاعَةُ وَهُمْ أَحْيَاءٌ ، وَمَنْ يَتَّخِذُ الْقُبُورَ مَسَاجِدَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The worst people will be those who are alive at the time of the Hour, or those who make graveyards a place of prostration."
