Hadith 3840

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْحَارِثِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ، يَقُولُ : " مَا صُمْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِسْعَةً وَعِشْرِينَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا صُمْتُ مَعَهُ ثَلَاثِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I have observed thirty fasts of the month of Ramadan with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) more frequently than I have observed twenty-nine.
