Hadith 3836

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مَنْزِلًا . . . فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ ، وَقَالَ " رُدَّهُ رَحْمَةً لَهَا " .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain, however, at the end of it there is this addition that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave this command out of his compassion.
