(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْزِلًا ، فَانْطَلَقَ إِنْسَانٌ إِلَى غَيْضَةٍ ، فَأَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا بَيْضَ حُمَرَةٍ ، فَجَاءَتْ اَلْحُمَرَةُ تَرِفُّ عَلَى رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرُءُوسِ أَصْحَابِهِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَيُّكُمْ فَجَعَ هَذِهِ ؟ " فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ : أَنَا أَصَبْتُ لَهَا بَيْضًا ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ارْدُدْهُ " .
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Abdullah that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) camped at a certain place. During this time, a man went towards a bush, where he saw a "Laal" (the nest of a bird). He took its eggs. Meanwhile, the bird came and began to circle and cry over the heads of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them all). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Who among you has troubled it?" The man said, "I have taken its eggs." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Return them."
