Hadith 3829

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of the Trench, the polytheists did not give the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) the opportunity to perform the Asr prayer until the sun had set. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah fill their houses and graves with fire, for they did not let us perform the Asr prayer until the sun had set."
