(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنْبَأَنَا مُغِيرَةُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ أَعَفَّ النَّاسِ قِتْلَةً أَهْلُ الْإِيمَانِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In matters of killing, the people of faith are the most chaste and possess the best conduct among all people."
