Hadith 3603

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا سَمَرَ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ يَعْنِي الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ ، إِلَّا لِأَحَدِ رَجُلَيْنِ : مُصَلٍّ ، أَوْ مُسَافِرٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No one is permitted to talk after the 'Isha prayer except for two persons: one who is praying or one who is traveling."
