(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَعَلَّكُمْ سَتُدْرِكُونَ أَقْوَامًا يُصَلُّونَ صَلَاةً لِغَيْرِ وَقْتِهَا ، فَإِذَا أَدْرَكْتُمُوهُمْ ، فَصَلُّوا فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ فِي الْوَقْتِ الَّذِي تَعْرِفُونَ ، ثُمَّ صَلُّوا مَعَهُمْ ، وَاجْعَلُوهَا سُبْحَةً " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is possible that you may encounter such people who delay the prayer from its prescribed time. If you find them, then perform the prayer at its prescribed time in your home, and when they pray, join them as well, and consider it a voluntary prayer."
