It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until a man from my Ahl al-Bayt rules whose name will correspond to my name." Abdullah bin Ahmad says that our father narrated this hadith to us in his house, in his room; perhaps someone from the descendants of Ja'far bin Yahya or Yahya bin Khalid had asked him about it.
