Hadith 3560

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً ، فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا ، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يَحْزُنُهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you are three people, then two of you should not whisper to each other excluding the third, because this will cause grief to the third."
