Hadith 3559

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ هُوَ الْأَزْرَقُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ ، فَقَدْ رَآنِي ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَتَمَثَّلَ بِمَثَلِي " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sees me in a dream should be certain that he has indeed seen me, for Satan cannot assume my form or appearance."
