Hadith 3536

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived at Makkah with his noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) on the occasion of ‘Umrat al-Qada’, the polytheists began to mock, saying: “A people are coming to you whom the fever of Yathrib has made weak.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) to perform ramal (brisk walking) in the first three circuits. The polytheists began to say among themselves: “The fever of Yathrib has not made them weak.”
