ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3532

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَا يَأْتِي عَلَى رُكْنٍ مِنْ أَرْكَانِ الْبَيْتِ إِلَّا اسْتَلَمَهُ ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ " إِنَّمَا كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُ هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ " . فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَرْكَانِهِ شَيْءٌ مَهْجُورٌ . قَالَ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ الْيَمَانِيَ ، وَالْحَجَرَ .
Abu Al-Tufail says that whenever Sayyiduna Amir Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by any corner of the Ka'bah, he would perform istilam (touching or kissing). Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform istilam only of the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner. Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) replied that no part of the House of Allah is abandoned or neglected.
