ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3527

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ قَيْسٍ . قَالَ عَفَّانُ : أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى زَمْزَمَ ، فَنَزَعْنَا لَهُ دَلْوًا ، فَشَرِبَ ثُمَّ مَجَّ فِيهَا ، ثُمَّ أَفْرَغْنَاهَا فِي زَمْزَمَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " لَوْلَا أَنْ تُغْلَبُوا عَلَيْهَا ، لَنَزَعْتُ بِيَدَيَّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the well of Zamzam. We drew a bucket of water, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it and rinsed his mouth in that bucket. Then we put that bucket back into the well of Zamzam (thus the leftover water from the Prophet also mixed in it), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I had not feared that you would be overpowered, I would have drawn the bucket with my own hand."
