ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3526

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا ، يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . (حديث موقوف) (حديث مرفوع) وَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَتَوَضَّأُ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً ، يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Matlab bin Abdullah says that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to wash the limbs of wudu three times each and attributed this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), whereas Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) used to wash them once each and he too attributed this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
