Musnad Ahmad
ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3525

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ ، المعنى ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، ثُمَّ أَشْعَرَ الْهَدْيَ جَانِبَ السَّنَامِ الْأَيْمَنِ ، ثُمَّ أَمَاطَ عَنْهُ الدَّمَ ، وَقَلَّدَهُ نَعْلَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ رَكِبَ نَاقَتَهُ ، فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ ، أَحْرَمَ " ، قَالَ : فَأَحْرَمَ عِنْدَ الظُّهْرِ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِالْحَجِّ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Zuhr prayer at Dhu’l-Hulayfah, then he had the sacrificial animal brought, drew blood from its right side and applied it on it, then cleaned off that blood and hung sandals around its neck. Then the riding animal of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was brought. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted it and reached Bayda, he recited the Talbiyah for Hajj.
