ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3501

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : سمعتُ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يقول : " لَوْ أَنَّ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيًا مَالًا ، لَأَحَبَّ أَنَّ لَهُ إِلَيْهِ مِثْلَهُ ، وَلَا يَمْلَأُ نَفْسَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ ، وَاللَّهُ يَتُوبُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ " . فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : فَلَا أَدْرِي أَمِنَ الْقُرْآنِ هُوَ أَمْ لَا ؟ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "If the son of Adam had a valley full of wealth and riches, he would wish to have another like it, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust. However, whoever repents, Allah turns to him in mercy." Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: I do not know whether this is a part of the Qur'an or not.
