ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3494

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ ، إِذَا فَاتَنِي الصَّلَاةُ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ ؟ فَقَالَ : " رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، تِلْكَ سُنَّةُ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Musa bin Salamah says that I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them), "If you do not find the congregational prayer in the mosque and you are a traveler, how many rak'ahs will you pray?" He replied: "Two rak'ahs, because this is the Sunnah of Abu al-Qasim (peace be upon him)."
