ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3471

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ ، قَالَا : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ قَوْلَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ " ، قَالَ طَاوُسٌ : فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : وَيَمَسُّ طِيبًا أَوْ دُهْنًا إِنْ كَانَ عِنْدَ أَهْلِهِ ؟ قَالَ : لَا أَعْلَمُهُ .
Tawoos says that once I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that people think that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if you are not in a state of major impurity, still perform ghusl (ritual bath) on Friday, and apply oil and perfume." Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) replied that I do not know about this.
