ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3470

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَدِّثُ " أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ كَشَفَ عَنْ وَجْهِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ بُرْدَ حِبَرَةٍ كَانَ مُسَجًّى عَلَيْهِ ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى وَجْهِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ أَكَبَّ عَلَيْهِ ، فَقَبَّلَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that after the blessed passing of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) entered the Prophet’s Mosque, he reached there and removed the striped sheet that had been placed over the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)’s blessed face, and upon seeing the radiant face, he leaned over it and began to kiss it.
