ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3468

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَحْوَلُ ، أَنَّ طَاوُسًا أخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَهَجَّدَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ دُعَاءِ سُفْيَانَ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " ووَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ ، وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ الْحَقُّ " ، وَقَالَ " وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ ، أَنْتَ إِلَهِي ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would wake up in the middle of the night to pray, he would recite this supplication. Then the narrator mentioned the complete supplication and also said: Your word is true, Your promise is true, meeting You is true, forgive all my past and future, hidden and apparent sins. You are my Lord, there is no deity except You.
