ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3444

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسِ ، قَالَ : مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَفَرٍ يَرْمُونَ ، فَقَالَ : " رَمْيًا بَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، فَإِنَّ أَبَاكُمْ كَانَ رَامِيًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some people who were practicing archery. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Banu Isma'il! Practice archery, for your father Isma'il (peace be upon him) was an archer."
