It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Abu Wadi’ah—whose name was Khidham—married his daughter to a man. His daughter came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and complained that her marriage was being forced with a certain man. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) separated her from her husband and said, “Do not force women.” After that, the girl married Sayyiduna Abu Lubabah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him). It should be noted that she was previously married.
