Musnad Ahmad
ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3416
اُردوEn
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، عَنْ سَلْمٍ ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا مُسَاعَاةَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ، مَنْ سَاعَى فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَدْ أَلْحَقْتُهُ بِعَصَبَتِهِ ، وَمَنْ ادَّعَى وَلَدَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ رِشْدَةٍ ، فَلَا يَرِثُ وَلَا يُورَثُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no allowance in Islam for having relations with another person's slave woman. Whoever did so in the time of ignorance, I attribute the child born as a result of that relation to his 'asaba (paternal relatives). And whoever claims a child as his own without marriage (and says that this is my child, even though he was not married to the child's mother), then that child will neither inherit from him nor will he inherit from the child (neither of them will inherit from the other)."
