ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3398
اُردوEn
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَنْبَأَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " أَفْطَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَرَفَةَ ، وَبَعَثَتْ إِلَيْهِ أُمُّ الْفَضْلِ بِلَبَنٍ ، فَشَرِبَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not fast in the plain of Arafah. Sayyidah Umm al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with her) sent him some milk, which he drank.
