ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3329

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ رُسْتُمَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : أُقِيمت الصَّلاةُ وَلَمْ أُصَلِّ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ ، فَرَآنِي وَأَنَا أُصَلِّيهِمَا ، فَمَدَّني ، وَقَالَ : " أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ أَرْبَعًا ؟ " فَقِيلَ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the iqamah for the Fajr prayer was given, so I stood up to pray two rak‘ahs because I had not been able to pray them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw me praying and came close and said: "Will you pray four rak‘ahs for Fajr?"
