ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3306

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ . وَحَمَّادٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، الْمَعْنَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " جِئْتُ أَنَا وَالْفَضْلُ عَلَى حِمَارٍ ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ قَالَ : الْخَيَّاطُ ، يَعْنِي حَمَّادًا فِي فَضَاءٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ فَمَرَرْنَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ، وَنَحْنُ عَلَيْهِ ، حَتَّى جَاوَزْنَا عَامَّةَ الصَّفِّ ، فَمَا نَهَانَا وَلَا رَدَّنَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once I and Fadl were passing by riding on a donkey, at that time the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the people in prayer in the desert. We dismounted from our ride and joined the prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not forbid us nor did he send us back.
