ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3303

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلَ الْأَقْرَعُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ ، رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَرَّةً الْحَجُّ ، أَوْ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ ؟ قَالَ : " لَا ، بَلْ مَرَّةً ، فَمَنْ زَادَ ، فَتَطَوُّعٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once Sayyiduna Aqra’ bin Habis (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Is performing Hajj every year obligatory? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hajj is obligatory only once in a lifetime, whatever is more than that will be voluntary Hajj."
