ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3293

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ِعمْرَانُ بْنُ حُدَيْرٍ وَمُعَاذٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حُدَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، قَالَ : قَامَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، فَقَالَ : الصَّلَاةَ . فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ ، ثُمَّ ، قَالَ : الصَّلَاةَ . فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ ، ثُمَّ ، قَالَ : الصَّلَاةَ . فَقَالَ : أَنْتَ تُعْلِمُنَا بِالصَّلَاةِ ؟ ! قَدْ " كُنَّا نَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ " . قَالَ مُعَاذٌ : عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Abdullah bin Shaqiq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that (one day after Asr, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) delivered a sermon to us until the sun set and the stars began to appear. People started calling out, "Prayer, prayer!") At that time, there was a man from Banu Tamim among the people, and he began to loudly say, "Prayer, prayer." At this, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) became angry and said: "Do you want to teach me the Sunnah? We have performed a 'collective' (apparent) joining of two prayers with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
