Musnad Ahmad
ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3286
اُردوEn
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . وعَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ ، وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done and gave the cupper his wage. If this wage had been unlawful, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would never have given it.
