ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3278
اُردوEn
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ ، فَلَمْ نَسْمَعْ مِنْهُ حَرْفًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the solar eclipse prayer, but we did not hear a single letter of the Qur'an from him recited aloud during it.
