It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites these words in the marketplace, «لَاإِلَهَإِلَّااللَّهُوَحْدَهُلَاشَرِيكَلَهُ ، لَهُالْمُلْكُوَلَهُالْحَمْدُ ، بِيَدِهِالْخَيْرُ ، يُحْيِيوَيُمِيتُوَهُوَعَلَىكُلِّشَيْءٍقَدِيرٌ» 'There is no deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, all goodness is in His hand, He gives life and causes death, and He is powerful over everything,' Allah will write for him one million good deeds, erase one million sins, and build for him a palace in Paradise."
