ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3263

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَعْلَمُهُمْ ، قَالَ : " وَلَكِنْ يَمْنَحُ أَخَاهُ ، خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهُ عَلَيْهَا خَرْجًا مَعْلُومًا " .
Tawoos (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the greatest scholar among the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), (Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both), informed me (that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said): "For any one of you to present his land to his brother as a gift is better than that he should take a specified rent from him for it."
